I need help in picking the best spark plugs and wire set for my 98 GSR. Please let me know the pros and cons of the combo. Should I stick with original parts or aftermarket? This would help me a lot in my weekend work on my car. My GSR has 60K miles on it.

I have a 95 Civic Ex sedan with the GSR drivetrain in it. I have Magnecore wires and use Bosch platinum plugs. No complaints on either product.

use the stock NGK platinums and stock wires. you have no reason to use anything else.

Stock parts certainly work fine, but there are better alternatives out there. =-)

Magnecor makes great wires. I used their KV-85 wires on my Integra for years with no problems. For spark plugs, the NGK copper plugs work well, but for the best performance use an iridium plug, like a Denso. Higher cost, but it pays for itself with slightly improved performance.

Not sure about plugs but I know that I read (I think on TOV) that the best Wires to use are the Stock Wires. There was a Comparison of Stock Vs NGK Blue and the Stock wires had the Smoother Power Curve and Best overall Performance. I've heard elsewhere that the Iridium plugs are Great.
