Are we going to see a hybrid war?

For American consumption, a 2.4L make more sense since that's the only small engine choice.
A 2.0L in hybrid make more sense but only if implementation cost is lower then current 2.4L.
But the problem is putting it into an Accord may not draw much crowd since the success of Insight and Prius is based on the unique look. Making an Accord Hybrid will not raise any eyebrows.
Prius doing well because:
A) looks different and cool
B) Size of Camry and a hatch to boot
C) 295lb of torque, that's like V6/V8 terrortory. Too bad they can't keep that to a higher rev.
