Don't the patent filing renderings satisfied you?

Those tail lights look to be about accurate........your other pix had them extending far into the quarter, these are eased back. Much better.............Like I said at first, when I saw this pix it through me off because I never saw a rear quarter of the car and all the spy pix didn't show the detail as this one did........

Right, they both seem to have 4 doors, 4 wheels, a trunck and space for a license plate. And they both have the logo in the same place :)

This rear end is an order of magnitude classier than the current model IMHO :)

Especially from the last two years. The trunk lid reflectors look like they were slapped on with two sided tape like a total after thought. . .

Not only that, but they've repeated the same stupidity with the new Civic in Asia/Oceania!

Don't worry about that. They do it so that if you do not like it you can peel it off since it's double tape to the back.

I actually don't share the hate mail that the 9th Gen attracts in the US, I actually think it is quite an attractive design, but those rear lights do it no favours whatsoever! Given a development of the 78th Gen rear lights, and what we are seeing with this new Accord I think the 9th Gen could have been a bullseye in the looks department.

imjisme, you keep saying that, but why look for a rendering when you can see the CAD drawings from the patent filing (I know I keep aswering this - it will be the last time).

I know, right. Someone's got to have a life outside of these forums!
Taking the time to do one serious Photoshopping on one picture, must take days, hours at a time. And then you have to walk away so your eyes aren't jaded that you don't see the mistakes you're making. I've been there, and that was just a minor job.
Photoshopping, is endless. Like painting a masterpiece. It'll (almost) never end. You should try on a simple picture.
Anyway, I appreciate ciwai08 taking the time to do the back of the new Accord. If we see another one, great! If not, good job, ciwai08. Nice to have you on this forum and sharing your hard work with us. Can't wait to see the next one, whenever it comes out...
