Improving efficiency makes commercial sense.
It makes moral sense.
It makes environmental sense.
It's been built into Honda's guiding philosophy since 1950's.
Honda has been truly green for almost 60 years.
I hope it hasn't lost focus being diverted to the marketing or pseudo green and stays truly environmentally responsible.
Environmental responsibility = improving efficiency in use of all resources: water, air, land, soil, minerals, metals, rubber, vegetation, ...
It's tried and true focus on simplicity was a fundamentally sound strategy.
One wonders how hybrids fit into that over the life of the vehicle.
Sound engineering driven by customers' real needs makes perfect sense.
