Any idea? I would not be surprised if they dropped the coupe after the upcoming model cycle, just like Toyota did with the Camry Solara.

I believe it is ten percent or less of total Accord production. Most Accord buyers want the sedan.

but its an important 10% (if its that), because it is almost certainly buyers who WOULDN'T buy the sedan. I don't doubt they could increase that percentage with a better/ more functional model. But the point is, loss of 10% of one models sales (at the level the Accord sells) is a huge loss and not likely to be given up or recovered easily by the other models. Especially with Toyota OUT of that contest, it makes even less sense that Honda exit it. They should, instead, perfect it. But I suspect thats part of the reason we're seeing an evolution of the Coupe, not a reinvention in this model cycle.

I bought the fully loaded EXV6 coupe back in 2001. And the way things look I wont be able to get 6MT with the sedan so it looks like its gonna be a repeat of 2001 for me.
Fully loaded EXV6 2013 2 door. blehhhhh Oh well. I love the coupe.

Well said. My wife and I couldn't stand the look of the sedan, but fell in love with the coupe and bought one. If it wasn't for in-laws and kids we'd get another coupe. We are cautiously optimistic the sedan doesn't have that problem this generation.
