Mid may color and model info seems kind of early for the expected September release. Maybe July?

I hope so, but with the number of 2102 Accords still in dealers it's very unlikely.

It does seem that dealers are pushing a bit early to get rid of their inventory. I got an email today, the local dealership is doing an Accord blowout sale:
ACCORD LX for 18,600
ACCORD SE for 22,400
ACCORD EXL V6 for 24,400 including destination.
Of course these are the numbers to get you in but still... I would expect this on July or August, not May.

Yup, same place :)
Don't you find it is a bit early for them to ramp up the incentives? They are either really overstocked or seeking to start making some space to get some 9gens in August?

I think one of two things are happening...
Scenario One (the one I prefer) Honda is putting incentives on the current Accord now because the new one is going to be out in July or August....they won't to move the existing cars to make room for the new ones.
Scenario Two (the one I hope isn't happening) Honda is puttig incentives on the Accords to move them in general. Every automaker right now in this class has some awesome deals, Accord's sales up until last were pretty dismal next to some of the competition, could Honda be adding incentives to meet sales goals?
Considering we already know color combos & trim levels for the new Accord and every automaker who is doing a redesigned midsizer for MY2013 has played their hands (Altima, Fusion, Malibu) and its been less than a month since Honda showed off the Concept C in China, I'm inclined to believe the Accord might drop a little earlier than Honda originally planned for it to...the only piece of the puzzle missing are some actual spy shots...and we'll probably get those by the end of May or early June at the latest.
