Yet again another easy win for the Fit against the new Sonic, Accent, Rio, Fiesta (not even placed), the Versa and some other crap. despite being the oldest, having mediocre EPA and up there price wise. Problem is, until the Mexican plant comes on stream I just don't think Honda is very keen on selling them. We have next to no supply (no manuals for 3 months), no advertising, and the Civic is cheaper (in Canada anyway). A shame as it is such a truly brilliant design.

This is def not good. If this trend continues, we will never see next gen Fit.

Sure they are keen on selling them, but with the Thailand factory gone - JDM production is flat out, e.g. sending them to Australia for higher margins.

these things are never news in TOV but, since you mention it, Thailand factory has already resumed production and, according to Honda, by now should have already reached normality.

By the way, I really don't think whatever Fits Honda is bringing to Australia from Japan has an impact on US deliveries, not when you take in account the tiny size of Honda in that country and the fact that Honda is selling around 20-30k of those a month at home (+50% over pre-quake 2011...)

Jay Wolfe Honda in KC shows 12 new Fit's in stock, all Sport's and they are all auto-tragic's!
In their inventory of 77 Civic's, only 2 are sticks, a Si sedan and coupe!
I guess a stick may need to be factory ordered?

Jay Wolfe Honda's updated Fit stock now reads at around 22 new (9 of which are non-Sport models) and 2 in used inventory.
Here's a closer look at the CPO'd Fit: http://www.jaywolfehonda.com/used-inventory/index.htm
