I know this is a side note. And if you can keep from throwing up a bit in your mouth by having to deal with the smarmy Tyson Hugie clearly-paid "blogger'' BS marketing stuff...it shows the production ILX.
There are 5 vids labelled Tyson does this, Tyson does that, Tyson picks up his paycheck at Honda HQ....

Then he opens the hood and you can see the hamster and wheel power train. Even the exterior of the ILX now looks bland and boring. They even copied the BMW shark fin GPS antenna. ACURA = EPIC FAIL.

Or in this case, to try to co-opt the "enthusiast" crowd's commentary and turn its distaste for the AHMC's diluted product line into praise. Just happened to turn 500,000 miles as he drove up to Honda HQ, IT professional, the script he's stuck to in the vids, and the directions he's receiving off to the side. What an orchestration.... just getn paid.

Sorry to be negative but honestly the videos are really awful. Same goes with the lighting and the acting (it really does make you want to throw-up). What an awful way to market the ILX.

I couldn't get through them all...what a joke.
Ikeda thinks the ILX is going to stand up to the test of time design wise like the Legend? Seeing as the Legend already looks better than the ILX, I am going to have to seriously doubt that one.
The odds are even that the one man show Ikeda wouldn't know an Acura Enthusiast if it was serving him jumbo shrimp.

Anyone wanna guess if some of zealots on here are also paid...just like Hugie? Paid to talk positively about the Civic. Hmm... AHMC denies this approach, but their FB editing, The DriveToFive, and Hondies blogging on here says otherwise.

Sat in an ILX during local auto show. I have to say, the interior is actually ok. The only part of the car that is really ugly are the SUV style wheel gaps. They may 17" rims looks like 13".
For us Canadian, the is a good replacement of CSX which nobody bought anyway.

That's the thing - the interior is Ok. It needs to be better surely. fair point re the CSX - least this is more than badge engineering. As long as it is priced not too much more than the CSX was.
