For $25k, I'd go with the Mustang or Camaro V6...both of these have "history" and are actually good cars. For over $30k, I would consider the V8 of the above models, or the 370Z. The Mustang V8 or Camaro SS are considerably more powerful and again, with great history and reputation. The 370Z also has great great reputation and it probably has better after market support. The 370Z also looks more expensive than the Genesis, IMO.
