Those with kids and Acuras -- what is the best way to protect your perforated leather seats from an infant car seat (Britax) without negatively impacting the functionality of the seat?

It goes without saying that child safety is the *most*important but if there is a way to protect the seats from damage, I would appreciate knowing about it!

there are call car seat protectors or car seat saver from varies maker, they are available at many place such as W**mart, Toyrus maybe advanceauto as well!

By the way if you have a newer TL I think they even sell a factory add-on that covers the entire back seat ... you might want to check that out

It's generally recommended that you can't put anything under the seat without compromising the function of the seat in a crash. I know that several companies sell products for that, but keep in mind that several companies also sell toys and mirrors for car seats (that become harmful projectiles in an accident). I don't use anything with mine, the leather is holding up just fine (maybe a couple creases like the cloth seats in my other car).
