I had lost all hope of seeing a next gen NSX, but I can't say i'm exited because i'm mostly afraid that Honda will come up with a green NSX that will not even be able to compete with the Nissan GTR.
If there will be a next NSX, I truly expect it to go head to head with a 458 Italia.

I'm guessing it'll line up more with the Audi R8, Nissan GTR and Porsche GT3/2 or whatever the better one is. I'm curious of the price point of the car.

Not to worry, the HSV-010 already bested the GT-R in SuperGT duty, so Honda has already created a car that will "best" it.
You make it sound like a green NSX can't beat a forced induction GTR. Well, there is already an electric car that can beat a 458 Italia, Porsche 911. It's called Eliica, made by Keio University. If Keio can do it, then Honda can make it even better. The future of the NSX is a big GREEN light.
If anything I truly expect Ferrari to come out with a hybrid super car that is just as safe as an Acura. Put that into perspective.
