Last race, injured drivers and coming race...
|
Last race didn't give back the results a lot of die hard Honda fans hoped for.
With Button out of the race because of a pretty bad accident in free practice and Jacques forcefully removed from the race by Honda fireworks it was not a very nice race weekend for us fans. Things are looking much better than last year, but that also raises expectations. Racing is racing and stuf goes wrong (ask Montoya one race back).
Jacques in action
Button luckily survived the crash and will race again coming race. Jacques got some back problems while testing this week, but he will not miss his home GrandPrix for the world. If we don't look at individual bad weekends we can see some promising trend upwards looking at performance and points.
Jenson at the pitwall
This weeks testing at Monza gives even more hope for coming race. If nothing breaks down, and with a little bit of luck... The testing shows that the BAR cars do have good speed, and the last testing day shows a pretty good number of laps. The problems might be under control, though we will not know untill our drivers are on the podium! Isn't that the fun of watching races and following the sport?
