Pushing the limits

Hytech Exhaust has recently finished testing their new performance kit for the K20A2 engine found in the RSX-S. The kit includes new cams, pistons, rods, intake manifold, header, ECU retune and a ported cylinder head.
As we were fortunate enough to be present during the tuning of the ECU by Doug from Hondata, we were able to see first hand what sort of power this engine is capable of. Now, before you skip to the dyno sheets, note that all the testing was done on 91 octane pump gas!!! And then remember that this engine is normally aspirated and 2.0 liters in displacement.
There is more to come on this topic, as we'll be doing a test drive soon and giving real world driving impressions of this engine package. But, for now take a gander at the dyno curves vs. a stock RSX-S, and a heavily modified (with bolt-on and Type-R parts) RSX-S from our good friend Ron.
